Andreas Huber -
World Billiard Champion's Coach

In this exciting edition, I am proud to welcome German National Billiard Coach Andreas Huber.

Andreas, having reached the highest grade possible in German Coaching Certification, applied this skill to his passion - American Pool and Billiard - eventually seeing his coaching system officially endorsed by the World Pool Association, to add to the work he was already doing with billiard world champions past and present.

Here, we talk about THE question in pool, the most important sentence for trainers worldwide, and the best feeling in the world.

We discuss the physics of Pool Billiard, how not to fall down, verbal flowers, chess on a tightrope and the only time to fall down to your knees.

Finally, we see the relationship of Zen Buddhism and the Japanese Tea Ceremony to Pool, how the game is a mirror and a lens to life, the struggle to gain recognition as a coach, and where the key is to see it, hear it, feel it and do it.

Confirming the purpose of life rounds off our discussion, and I know the enthusiasm from our coach of champions today will be picked up by you to apply to whatever is your purpose in life.

Enjoy the next hour, and listen time and time again to ingrain the wisdom of one of the most insightful and passionate coaches of our generation.

Doug Gordon -
BBC TV Snooker Coach

'Lucky' Doug Gordon, at least that's what some his friends call him, as, in the early 90's, Doug was due to travel back to the UK by ferry, delayed his trip one day to chase an unpaid bill and saw that the boat he missed was the Zeebrugge ferry that sank, killing nearly everyone on board.

We discuss the meaning of this experience to his overall life, as well as how to use the power of thought alone to achieve goals, create parking spaces and delay aeroplanes for Bob Meucci.

You will hear anecdotes about American Pool legend Efren Bata Reyes, Doug's BBC TV featured snooker coaching system as well as his desire to promote his sport.

Also covered are technical secrets to cue sports, Doug's aspirations in life, the velvet glove covering his iron fist and the philosophy of coaching to round off this highly informative interview…

Other Achievements:
Has taught 2,000 people to play snooker.
Spent 25 years in cue sports.
Chairman of the UK Pro 9 Ball Tour.
Analysed most of the top minds in the sport.

Frank Adamson -
World Snooker Champion's Coach

I would like to welcome Frank Adamson of Bristol.

"Frank has been instrumental in my own game and career as a coach.
I first met Frank back in 1993, when I was 23. From our first meeting I knew he was a man I could trust completely - not only in day to day life but also as someone who woudl not put their own opinions above my own welfare as a player.
I see too many coaches in the game who would rather be right than really get in touch with what can help the player, and Frank is certainly not one of these individuals.
Of course, his depth of knowledge about the game is without parallel, but it is also Frank's knowledge and experience as a coach that I really wanted to tap into at the beginning of my international coaching career in 1999.
We met and spoke whenever we could, and it with Frank's help that I gained an unshakeable confidence in my own ability to coach any player of any standard to get the result they want or solve the problem they have.
I regard Frank as not only a close friend and 'father-figure', but also someone who has shaped my life definitely for the positive."
Nic Barrow

Frank has coached hundreds of players in his thirty year coaching career. From beginners to a world champion, from club players to top amateurs, Frank has taught them all. He received a glowing testimonial in the latest book from Ronnie O'Sullivan, who simply stated that he wouldn't have won six tournaments in his World Championship year without Frank.

From his private practice in Bristol that operates by waiting list, Frank also trains other coaches and is bound to be a positive influence on anyone who has the chance to see him.

We discuss everything from the basics of technique and concentration, through to the preparation a player requires for a match, a season and a career.

The interview is bound to answer many questions, leaving you with thorough knowledge, honed through decades of experience, on all the main areas of the game.

Ronnie O'Sullivan's testimonial about Frank Adamson:

"Without him, I don't think I would have won the World Championship and certainly wouldn't have won six tournaments in the same season."

We hear about the hundreds of note-books Mike has written to keep on top of his game, which type of legs he prefers to look at and how fellow professional Peter Gilchrist made him cry as a 13 year old.

We discover how his greatest strength is also his greatest weakness, the definition of perfect timing and how one can best deal with pressure.

To finish off, we cover how you can create your own luck, where Mike still wants to improve his game and the downsides of worldly success.
