Welcome to the most comprehensive collection of
snooker practice routines on the internet (in ebook, printed book, video and online tutorial & quiz formats!)...
"Save years of time by learning instantly the full collection of snooker practice routines used by the world's best snooker coaches to help players of all standard (in every area of their game) - and the secret routines used by the best professionals in the world..."
From The Desk Of Nic Barrow,
Sunday 25th October 2009, 10.40am...
Have you ever been on the table and wanted to know what you should be practicing?
Have you ever been in doubt about what the best use of your time would be when you only have 6 minutes to practice your long shots?
Have you ever seen someone practicing a great snooker improvement routine, or a great snooker coach teaching one... and then forgetten what it was completely?!
Well I am here to rescue you from this abyss of frustration and disappointment - and this is partly because I went through it myself.
I have been a professional player for 17 years (and scored my first147 maximum break back in 1991 when I was 21), but it took me YEARS in the beginning to understand what worked on the practice table for all the areas of the game, and what did not work.
It also took me the same amount of time to know what practices to give players of different standards, and HOW to approach those practices in a way that gave the maximum amount of improvement for your valuable minutes on the table.
I always remembered a sports world champion who was interviewed once about his practice - he said his attitude in his practice was to improve 1% per week... I certainly believe that anyone can improve their snooker game in this way.
So how does all this help you?...
Back in 2005 when I had been Head Snooker Coach of the UAE National Team for 6 years, I eventually felt I had enough experience and knowledge of all the various routines that players should practice (and equally importantly the routines that players should NOT practice). I had been battling with my graphic designer for OVER 15 MONTHS to get a PERFECT computer rendition of the professional snooker table, and the correct relative dimensions of the balls and pocket angles.
I have to admit that Kunal seemed to get exasperated with me at times when I kept sending him back to rehash the whole table design in his software.
Don't get me wrong - I paid him on an hourly basis because I know how obsessed I can get when it comes to demanding perfection but I knew that my current and future customers deserved no less! This table template was designed so that I could set up and create the practice routines with the minimum of time.
When the template was ready, I went into my old 'Snooker Practice Routine' files and pulled out ALL the routines in there. I then organised them into the different logical sections of the game, designed and tested some new ones at the club, then began my book.
I used to come home from the club at about 4pm, and work usually for about three hours per day designing these snooker practice routines. After three long weeks I had over 150 snooker routines (in the 9 major areas of snooker shot making) designed and ready to put into book format!
Over six months later, and after hours of improving the written snooker practice principles and tinkering with the graphic design... I finally had my 'Perfect Practice Routines' ready!
So it is my great pleasure to introduce my best selling snooker coaching book to you today.
I know if you decide to go ahead now and buy it that you will feel you have a lifetimes worth of snooker gems resting in your hands that you can come back to at any time - even if you reach the world number one ranking!
